Mrs. Sadie Stinton

Mrs, Sadie Stinton of Akron suffered a severe stroke last -Friday afternoon and was taken to the Akron hospital for medical attention. Mrs. Stinton passed away at,7:00 o'clock Wednesday evening. She was 81 years of age and an early-day resident of the Akron community.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church.

Mrs. Sadie Stinton, 81 Of Akron Dies, Funeral Services Held Saturday

Mrs. Sadie Stinton, 81, of Akron died last Wednesday,Sept. 26 at the Akron hospital. Mrs. Stinton suffered a stroke on Friday and was taken to the hospital for medical attention.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Akron Methodist church. Rev. H. Myron Braun officiated at the services. Burial was in the Adaville cemetery.

Sarah Hamilton Stinton was born Sept. 4, 1870 in Plymouthcounty. After her marriage to Will Stinton, they moved to a farm near Westfield. Following her husband's death, Mrs. Stinton lived in Merrill for a short time and then moved to Akron. She was a telephone operator in Akron for 30 years.

Surviving are three daughters Mrs. Nettie Robinson and Mrs. Avery Small of Akron and Mrs. Marjorie Burnight of California.
