Mrs. Anna Martin, 95, a resident of Kewaskum for 66 years, died early today
at Hope Nursing Home, Lomira, where she lived for the last 2 ½ years.
She was born March 16, 1874, in the Town of Wayne, Washington County, a
daughter of Joseph and Katherine Beisbier Sukawaty. She was married to
William Martin on June 5, 1901. They came to Kewaskum after their marriage.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Edward Brandt of Teaneck, N.J.; one
son, William S. Martin, village commissioner of Kewaskum; one granddaughter,
Mrs. Frank Krueger Jr. of Kewaskum; three great-grandchildren; three
brothers, John Sukawaty of the Town of Wayne, Andrew Sukawaty of Fond du Lac
and Wenzel Sukawaty of Manitowoc.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1924, one son, one sister and
two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Millers Funeral Home,
Kewaskum, and 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Kewaskum, with the Rev. John
T. Budde officiating. Burial will be in the new Holy Trinity Cemetery,
Kewaskum.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
