John De Bamberg was one of four children born to Joe and Hellen Bamberg. He grew up in Covington, Oklahoma as the son of a farmer and later moved to Georgia where he was a subcontractor. He graduated from Covington-Douglas High School in 1983.
John loved the farm and farming and always hoped to return to it someday. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and hiking in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife, two children and a stepson,3 siblings and his parents.
