She received her formal education in Denver, CO where she graduated from Manual High School. June was employed by the United States Post Office for over 39 years, where she worked the longest at the Parkhill Post Office. She accepted Christ when she united Peaceful Rest Baptist Church, she also attended redemption Missionary Baptist Church.
