Marjorie was the second child born to Garfield Adams and Frances Cooper. She was raised by her maternal grandparents. Her step father was Berthes Anderson. She received her formal education in Langston, Ok where she graduated from Langston High School. Marjorie joined Campbell Chapel AME, served as a member of Hospitality Club. She help raise her grandchildren , nieces, nephews and babysitting form may of the neighborhood children. In her spare time she enjoyed reading True Story, drinking RC Cola, sharing in family outing, vacation, watching soap opera, crocheting visits to the Hills.
