The death of Alfred A. Ayers, prominent Blue Creek township farmer, occurred at 2:30 o'clock this morning at the Lutheran hospital in Fort Wayne, where he was a patient for five days, death being due to inflammation of the heart. He was 63 years of age, coming to this county when nineteen years old, spending his time in Adams county. The body was brought to this city this morning, and taken to his home. Burial will be held Saturday morning in the cemetery at Wren, Ohio.
