Mrs. Jessie Barry Long, 78, wife of John J. Long, died Monday May 14, 1956, at her home 205 Prospect St.

A native of Canandaigua, she was the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth McIntyre Barry. She was born Jan. 29, 1878.

Mrs. Long was a member of the Rosary and St. Vincent de Paul Societies of St. Mary's Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Jean of Marcellus; three daughters, Mrs. John Dawson, Mrs. William Doane and Miss Jessie Long, all of Canandaigua; 12 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Kirkmire of Rochester and three brothers, George and Fred Barry of Rochester and Gordon of Pelham; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the McElwee Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. from the Funeral Home Thursday and from St. Mary's Church at 9 a.m. Internment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. John J. Long

Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Barry Long, 78, wife of John J. Long, of 205 Prospect Street, were held this morning from McElwee Funeral Home and from St. Mary's Church. Mrs. Long had died at her home on Monday May 11, 1956.

Bearers were Ray Tanea, Ethelbert Seiler, East Bloomfield, William Kirkmire and Lyle Kirkmire and John Lomg, all of Rochester, and Gene Brown, Alcott.

The Rev. John V. Rossi, assistant pastor of St. Mary's Church officiated at Mass and the Rev. Alphonse P. Crimmons, pastor, officiated at Calvary Cemetery.

Jessie Barry, daughter of Edward J. and Christine E. McIntyre Barry, married John J. Long, Sr. Apr. 6, 1904.
