George C. Barry, 67, formerly of Canandaigua, died in Rochester Tuesday following a brief illness. He was born in Canandaigua, July 27. 1892, the son of the late Edward and Elizabeth McIntyre Barry. He attended Canandaigua schools and for a time operated the motion picture machine in the local theater.

He is survived by three brothers, Gordon of Canandaigua, Fred of Rochester, and Elmer of Marietta, GA; a sister, Mrs. Frank (Evelyn) Kirkmire, Rochester; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Kennedy Funeral Home, at East Main and Culver Road, Rochester where prayer service will be held Friday at 8:30 a.m., followed by Mass in St. Mary's Church, Clinton and Court St., opposite Monroe Ave., at 9 a.m. Internment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Canandaigua.
