Petra married James Drennan on May 16, 1923 at McInnes Creek, Ontario, Canada and they had 5 children.
In 1909, the family moved from MN to Canada and settled in McInnes Creek, Ont. Petra married and spent all her married life in the McInnes Creek area, except for a short period when the family moved to Fort Frances.
During her active years, she enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening. She had a deep love for music which continued throughout her life. She was a member of the McInnes Creek Ladies Aid and, in later years, the McInnes Creek Chapel Board. She was the last living of all her brothers and sisters.
