Funeral services for the late Mrs. Dagny Victoria Olson, beloved wife of William Olson, 319 Fifth St., Rainy River, were held on July 31, 1973 from the McInnes Church. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Rev. Peterson of Baudette conducted the services and the Lettner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pall bearers were: active (nephews); Lloyd Jensson, Melvin Hendrickson, Willmar Hendrickson, Ernie Drennan, Leslie Jensson, and Henry Jensson; honorary: Leland Budreau, Ken McLean, John Quick, Robert Locking, Wilbert Runke, Laverne Drennan.
The former Dagny Jensson was born in Bemidji, Minn., on June 25, 1904 and was predeceased by her parents, Rev. Halvor and Eli Jensson and her eldest brother, Jens. The family moved to Rainy River when Mrs. Olson was a young girl. She was married to Mr. Wm. Olson in 1926 at Rainy River.
Surviving are her husband, William Olson, and theri five sons, William of Atikokan, Ont., Donald of Winnipeg, Man., Vernon of Rainy River, Ross of Winnipeg, Man., and John of Regina, Sask.; also brothers, Ingvald Jensson of Baudette, Minn., George and Casper of Rainy River, and sisters, Gina of Alexandria, Minn., Hilda of Northome, Minn., and Petra of Rainy River; and nine grandchildren
