Ingvald Jenson, 85, long time resident of Baudette, died Monday, Augugst 25, at Trinity Hospital in Baudette.
Ingvald grew up in Minneapolis and then moved with his parents to several towns in northern Minnesota, attending schools in Minneapolis and Northome. He then moved to McInnis Creek, Ontario, where he met his wife. Mr. Jenson and Martha Nelson were married on July 5, 1919 at Rainy River. He moved to Baudette in 1948 where he had made his home since.
Mr. Jenson worked as a commercial fisherman and a mink rancher, and also drove bus and taxi in Baudette. He was a World WarI veteran.
Mr. Jenson is survived by his widow; three sons, Lloyd of Kenora, Ontario, Clifford of Morson, Ontario and Louis of Seattle, Washington; one daughter, Evangeline (Mrs. Jack Moisson) of Kinberly, B.C.; a brother, Casper of Rainy River, Ontario; and one sister, Petra Drennan of Rainy River, Ontario; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Earl, three brothers and three sisters.
