OBITUARY

Augusta Welhilmena Jungholm was born March 18th 1846, at Jankopning, Sweden, and passed away after a brief illness at the home of her daughter, at Nome, North Dakota, on thursday, March 5th, 1931, being 84 years, 11 months and 15 days old.

In her childhood days she joined the Lutheran Church and ever since has been a faithful member. She was also baptized and confirmed in this faith.

In 1866 she was united in marriage to August Sunding. To this union nine children were born, five of which preceded her in death.

After remaining some time in Sweden, they came to America and settled in Rochelle, Illinois, remaining there until 1885 and then moving to a homestead north of Highmore. Here Mrs. Sunding made many friends and was a faithful worker and a loving mother.

In 1917 they retired and moved to Highmore. Here they lived until the death of Mr. Sunding, two years ago. Since that time she has made her home with her children. She leaves to mourn her loss three sons, Carl, Gunder and Conrad of Highmore, and one daughter, Mrs. Ed. Knudtson of Nome, North Dakota. She also leaves 21 grand children and 15 great- grandchildren, besides a host of friends.

The Herald joins with a large circle of friends in this community in extending condolences.
