Billy Lynwood "Bookie" Michael, 81, of Berkeley Springs, died Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital.

Born April 7, 1930 in the Highland Ridge Section of Morgan County, he was the son of the late Harold Edward and Edna Grethel McCoy Michael.

He is survived by his wife of 61 1/2 years, Phyllis Jean Shade Michael, at home.

Services and burial at Highland Cemetery will be private.
