The family of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Scharenbroch was sadly bereft on Thursday evening, March 28th, by the death in a hospital at Appleton, of their sixteen year old son, Anton. This fine young lad had been suffering from diabetes and was taken to the St. Elizabeth Hospital at Appleton in hopes that a recovery might be achieved. These hopes were shattered when death claimed him in Thursday, leaving the loving parents, five brothers and six sisters to mourn his loss. The family has the sympathy of a large circle of friends amongst whom he was highly esteemed. He had received his education in St. Mary’s parochial school in this city and six classmates acted as pallbearers at the funeral which took place on Tuesday forenoon. Interment was in the St. Mary’s Cemetery north of here.
