Louise is survived by her son, Gary (Mary) Mertens, six grandchildren, Tammy Baugh, Kristy (Bill) Kennedy, Randy (special friend Sheri) Mertens, Danny (Jennifer) Mertens, Rockie (Amy) Sampson, Tiffany (Jon) Fenlon; six great-grandchildren, Megan and Ian Kennedy, Taleah Mertens, Jake (Jenny) Sampson, Levi (special friend Hannah) Sampson and Carter Fenlon. Louise is also survived by a sister, Roselin (Wilmer) Geary, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen, 6 brothers and 4 sisters-in-law, 5 sisters and brothers-in-law, and many in laws from Jacob’s family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018 at St. John-Sacred Heart Catholic Church, N369 Military Rd., Sherwood with Fr. Michael Betley officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A memorial is being established.
