GEORGE WALKER CROFT, 82, of 1614 Sixteenth Street, NE, died at his home last night. He was a retired employee of the American Viscose Co.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Allie C. Croft; four sons, James A., John H., and George W. Croft, Jr., all of Roanoke; S/Sgt. Edmund C. Croft of Warner-Robbins, Georgia; five daughters, Mrs. Elva C. Smith, Roanoke; Mrs. T.W. Farris, Vinton; Mrs. Lucille Deaner, Roanoke; Mrs. M.A. Schilling, Bent Mountain and Mrs. A.W. Schilling, Blue Ridge; one brother S.H. Croft, Roanoke; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Faries and Mrs. Adell Hodges, both of Roanoke; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
