Mrs. Adell Croft Hodges, 71, of 419 Boulevard, Salem, died about noon Friday in a local hospital.
She was a member of the East End Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Shockley, Roanoke, and Miss Nellie Hodges, Salem; five sons, Ralph Hodges, Robert Hodges, both of Newport News, Harold Hodges, Jack Hodges, both of Roanoke, and Billy Hodges, Lynchburg; a sister, Mrs. Lucy Faries, Roanoke; a brother, Houston Croft, Roanoke; and 16 grandchildren.
