KATIE CROFT DEANER, age 63, of 1414 17th Street, NE, died Thursday in a local hospital.

Surviving are her husband, Harry L. Deaner, Wytheville; three daughters, Mrs. Linda Underwood, Roanoke; Mrs. Bettie Compton, Wytheville; Mrs. Sylvia Beckner, Copper Hill; three sons, Carroll L. Croft, Charles Deaner and Jerry Deaner, Roanoke; three brothers, John Croft, George Croft, Jr. and Edmund Croft, Roanoke; one sister, Mrs. Ocie Schilling, Roanoke; twelve grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel at 12:00 noon Saturday by the Rev. James R. Hughes, with interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
