Daughter of Charles Samuel Dean and Mariette Albee. On June 7, 1898, Mary married Joseph Louis Kobliska at Chetek, Wis. Their six children were: Charles Joseph, b. 1899, died 20 Aug 1908; Mable, b. 1903 at Weyeraeuser; Myrtle Ruth. b. 20 Apr 1904 at Chetek; Lester, b. 19 July 1906; Carl, b. 30 Nov 1908, died April 23, 1970; & Anne Marion Kobliska, b. 1913 at Chetek.

Friends were shocked last week Thursday at the sudden death of Mrs. J. L. Kobliska. While she had been in poor health for several years, she had been about her home and able to be out.
Mrs. Kobliska was born Mary Elizabeth Dean, in Maple Grove, August 1, 1878, and was married to John L. Kobliska. They made their home in Weyerhauser, where Mr. Kobliska was the depot agent for twenty years. Later he had a confectionery shop. They retired four years ago, making their home in Chetek.
She was the mother of six children, one preceeding her in death. There are five living, three girls and two boys. Mable, Mrs. George Whipple of Minneapolis; Ann of Minneapolis; Myrtle, Mrs. Walter Niederloh of Chetek; Carl of Weyerhauser and Lester of Chetek.
Funeral services were conducted from the St. Boniface Catholic church last Saturday morning at 10:00 a. m., with Rev. Fr. Damian Kvitek officiating. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery. [Unknown newspaper and date, probably the Chetek Alert of Chetek, Wisconsin.]
