Obituary: David W. Eccles passed away in a hospital in Covina, CA on Saturday, December 13, 1997. He died after a long battle with cancer. He was born to Stewart and Anna Rasmussen Eccles on Nov. 20, 1926 in Riverton, Utah.

He is survived by his widow, Lu Anne Hendrickson Eccles; children, David W., Jr. and wife, Stephanie; Dennis J. and wife, Jessica; Karen; Lt. Col. Richard L. and wife, Irene; Lori and husband, Arnold J.; nine grandchildren; brother, Stewart B.; sisters, Delorus; Hazel; Mabel; Louise; Pearl; and Ellen. Viewing at Covina, Calif. Mortuary at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 17, 1997. Funeral services at mortuary at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 18. Burial following services at Forest Lawn, the Veterans Section, Covina, CA.
