B. F. CLOUSER DIES AT 74

Death Sunday at Home Near Fabius --- Burial Here Tuesday.

B. F. Clouser of a mile west of Fabius, a resident of Knox County more than thirty years, died at his home at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the age of 74 years. He had been failing several years and was ill of influenza last winter. Death was from complications following.

Funeral services were at the Edina Community Church at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. Earl S. Woodard, Baptist clergyman. Burial was in Linville cemetery.

Surviving Mr. Clouser are his widow and seven children: Nelson Clouser at home; Arthur Clouser, near Knox City; Ralph Clouser, Edina; Orville Clouser, next to the home place; Miss Nina and Ethel Clouser, at home, and Fern, Mrs. Thomas Harper, south of Edina.

There also survive several brothers and sisters in Illinois, whose addresses are unknown here, and ten grandchildren.

Benjamin Fish Clouser, a son of Nelson and Jamina Clouser, was born Jan. 27, 1863, in Piatt County Illinois. He married Mary M. Judd Dec. 16 [sic], 1880 [sic], and to them were born the seven children mentioned as surviving.

The family moved about 1900 from Illinois to Colorado and came from there in 1905 to Knox County, the home since. Mr. Clouser and family moved two years ago from a farm west of Edina to the place near Fabius, where death came. He united with the Methodist Church at Dawson, III., a number of years ago.
