L.G. KICKLIGHTER DIED MONDAY P.M.

The entire community was shocked Monday afternoon when the news of the sad death of Mr. Lonnie G. Kicklighter, a leading farmer of this community was heralded abroad.

Mr. Kicklighter had suffered for several months from a general breakdown if health, but no serious consideration was given to his condition until a few weeks before he died.

He was about forty eight years old and leaves a wife and several small children, besides a host of relatives to mourn his untimely death.

His remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Beard's Creek Church on Tuesday afternoon and the funeral services were conducted in a very impressive manner by Elder W.B. Screws.
