PLATTSBURGH - Leo C. Tourville,75,of 75D Cornelia St., formerly of Ellenburg Center, died Friday, Oct. 4, 1985, at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home.
He was born in Chateaugay Oct. 20, 1909, the son of Eugene and Julia (Tourville)Tourville. He was a member of St. Peter's Church.
Mr. Tourville had worked for Republic Steel Corp. in Lyon Mountain for 39 years, retiring in 1967. He lived in Ellenburg Center until 1979, when he and his wife moved to Plattsburgh.
Survivors include his wife, Rita LaClair Tourville of Plattsburgh; four sons, Donald Tourville of Plattsburgh, Bruce Tourville of Largo, Fla., Robert Tourville of Rochester and Chester Tourville of West Plattsburgh; three half-brothers, Norman Tourville of Ellenburg Center, Lester Tourville of Rochester and Raymond LaGasse of Ellenburg Center; five sisters, Mrs. Evangeline Whalen of Ellenburg Center, Mrs. Leo (Dorita) Fisher of Merrill, Mrs. Jeannette VanSleigh of Rochester, Mrs. Leona Dupee of Ellenburg Center and Mrs. Anthony (Ida) Zangaire of Raceda,Calif.;15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be today and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. at the RW Walker Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday at St. Peter's Church at 10 a.m.
Buriall will be in St. Edmund's Cemetery in Ellenburg Depot.
