Jeanette Van Slyke- Virginia Beach-
Our loving mother, Jeanette Marie Van Slyke, residing in Virginia Beach, went to join her late husband, James and deceased son Jimmy April 15,2009.
She is survived by her sons, Michael of Rochester,NY, Stephen and Joseph of Virginia Beach, and Thomas of Rochester,NY; sister, Doretha; brother, Lester; daughter-in-laws; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Our mother was loving and devoted to raising her 5 sons. She is appreciated by her children for all her efforts and love through the years. She will be missed and loved by many.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday in the Back Bay Christian Assembly, 1212 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach, with a reception to follow. Altmeyer Funeral Home, Maestas Chapel, 1801 Baltic Ave., Virginia Beach, is in charge of arrangements.
