Forrest and Omar were the closest of brother's. Omar is of a bilious temperament, Forrest of a nervous temperament. They look nothing alike, no family resemblance between them. They are different types of humanity and yet close enough together to love each other dearly.Forrest was the thirteenth child born to the family and is enveloped in the mysteries of that magic number. As a young boy he worked the Farm like no other. Both Omar and Forrest left the farm as young men for city life and more fruitful work.

Taken from the book written by William Martin for their parents Golden Wedding Anniversary 1902
