WELLFORD, SC - William Braddie Austin, 97, resident of White Oak Manor, widower of Emma Mason Austin, died September 19, 2007.
A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Horatio and Adelia Gary Austin, he was a retired Recreation Park Director of Springs Park and a member of Startex United Methodist Church. Mr. Austin was a former Boy Scout Executive, a Sunday school superintendent and teacher.
Surviving is a daughter, Sandra Baldwin of Lancaster.
Mr. Austin was predeceased by a son, Ronnie Austin, four brothers and a sister.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Elizabeth Thompson.
Visitation will be held after the service at the grave site.
