Mrs. Garrison was born in San Francisco, Oct. 3, 1894, to William and Mary Kelly. She was 12 years old during the 1906 earthquake.
She trained as a registered nurse and served in World War I from Sept. 4, 1918, to Aug. 9, 1919, as an Army nurse, attaining the rank of first lieutenant.
Mrs. Garrison lived in San Francisco the majority of her life and worked for the County of San Francisco as a public health nurse.
She entered the Veterans Home in 1982.
She was a member of the Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary Napa Post No. 113 and V.F.W. No. 9300.
Mrs. Garrison is survived by a niece, Mary Worrall of San Diego, and three nephews, John, Michael and Joseph Day, all of San Francisco.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Veterans Home Chapel, Yountville.
Burial will be at Santa Rosa Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Claffey and Rota Funeral Home, Napa.
