Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn (Garrett) Colwell, 59, of Crawford, were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2009 from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Garrett and Bro. Mike Kirby officiating.
Burial was in Mineral Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Colwell died Monday, October 26, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker, garment factory worker, a member of Mineral Springs Freewill Baptist Church, and a loving mother and grandmother.
Born August 7, 1950 in Crawford, she was the daughter of the late R.D. and Maudeen (Sisco) Garrett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Berryman.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Terry Colwell of Crawford; 2 daughters, Melissa Ledbetter and Misty Colwell, both of Crawford; 3 brothers, Collins Sisco of Crawford, Hewey Garrett and Pastor Steve Garrett, both of Dunkirk, IN; 4 grandchildren, Ashley, Haven, Zach, and Chasity.
