Funeral services for Mrs. Mauddeen Garrett 78, of Crawford, were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2001, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey with Rev. Stevie Garrett, Rev. Kevin Phillips, and Rev. Elmer Graham officiating. Burial was in the Welch Memorial Cemetery with Goff Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Garrrett died Friday, February 23, 2001, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the Mineral Springs Freewill Baptist Church.

Born May 11, 1922, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Loyd and Stella (Walker) Sisco. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Aldora Vaughn; a grandson, Ronnie Garrett; and a great grandson, Christopher Ledbetter.


Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Terry Colwell, Crawford; three sons and daughters-in-laws, Collins and Estelle Sisco, Hewey and Diana Garrett, and Rev. Stevie and Rita Garrett, all of Dunkirk, IN; a sister, Mag-dalene Vaughn, Crawford; a brother, Dewey Sisco, Dunkirk, IN; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
