Mrs. Dora M. Bailey, 95, Selma, died Friday in Riverview Nursing Home. She was born in a log cabin in Delaware County and had spent her entire life here. Mrs. Bailey was the daughter of pioneers, Isaiah and Josephine S. Pittenger and was the widow of Arlin Bailey and the sister of the late Dr. L.A. Pittenger.
She is survived by a daughter, Miss Margaret Bailey; and six sons, Carl W. and Ira Bailey, both of Selma, Harry Bailey, Marion, Don Bailey, Fort Wayne, John Bailey, Providence, R.I., and Fred Bailey, Bloomington, Ill.; a brother, Ernest Pittenger, Dunkirk; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Parson Mortuary from 3-7 p.m. Sunday and before services there at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Rev. Paul Hill will officiate and burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
