William DeBard, aged 73, of 432 North Eddy street, died in his home at 12:30 a.m. Sunday after a year's illness. He resided with a brother, Louis DeBard, at the Eddy street address. He was born in Starke county, Ohio, Sept. 16, 1867, and came here from Ohio in 1884. Surviving are another brother, Charles DeBard, and a sister Mrs. Louise Seguin, both of South Bend. Friends will be received in the L. H. Orvis funeral home until the funeral there at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Fred H. Koehnemann, pastor of Immanuel Methodist church, will officiate with burial in Riverview cemetery.
