Louis DeBard, 432 N. Eddy St., died at 1 a.m. today in his home. He had been ill four weeks. Born in Starke County, O., on Dec. 18, 1870, Mr. DeBard married Bertha Kenney in South Bend on May 22, 1907. He was a retired employee of the Singer Manufacturing Co., where he had worked for 60 years.
Surviving is a brother, Charles of South Bend. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Saturday in the Walsh-Bilanci Colonial Chapel, 624 N. Notre Dame Ave. Rev. August D. Stork, pastor of Lowell Heights Methodist Church, will conduct services in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Riverview Cewmetery.
