Mrs. Lydia De Bard, widow of Celestine De Bard, died at her home, 428 North Eddy street, this morning shortly before 9 o'clock, after an illness of five weeks with heart trouble, aged 75 years. Mrs. De Bard was born in Starke county, Ohio, June 1, 1831 and had been a resident of this city for the past 10 years. She was married in 1860 and leaves the following children: Louis De Bard, William De Bard and Mrs. H. Seguin, all of this city. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and from the Lowell Heights M. E. church at 2 o'clock. Rev. William H. Mikels officiating. The remains will be laid to rest in the Riverview cemetery.
