Mrs. Mary McCarthy Lantry, 73, wife of Barney Lantry, Helena, died in Massena Memorial Hospital at 4:30 o'clock Friday April 30 1960. Mrs. Lantry was born Jan. 11, 1887, in Helena, the only child of Jerry and Margaret Collins McCarthy. She attended St. Joseph's Academy in Brasher and Helena Public School, and was married to Mr. Lantry June 24, 1913. They have since lived in Helena. Mr. Lantry is a livestock dealer. Surviving are the husband; three daughters, Mrs. Roy (Patricia) Barstow, Potsdam, Mrs. Robert (Kathryn) Durouchie, and Mrs. Roderick (Nancy) Mahoney, Helena; two sons, Henry B. and Jerry Lantry, both of Helena; 19 grandchildren. . Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Patrick's Church in Hogansburg and burial was made in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Brasher Falls.
