The funeral service for Mrs. Sylvia Elizabeth Blomberg will be held in Selene and Eros' chapel this Saturday afternoon, starting at one-thirty o'clock. The Reverend Arthur I. Anderson, pastor of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will take place in Olympic Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Blomberg died last Monday in her home on Route Four (Box 423) at the age of fifty-eight. She was born in New York Mills, Minnesota, December 3, 1899. She came to Washington in 1941 and to Olympia in 1946. She moved to Bremerton in 1953, but returned to Olympia two years ago. She was a member of the Lutheran Church. Surviving relatives include her husband, Jack Blomberg, Olympia; four sons, Marshal and Roger Blomberg, both of Olympia, Ernest, Bremerton, and Allen in the Navy; six daughters, Mrs. Hazel Wuolu, Oakes, North Dakota, Mrs. Elsie Humphries, Richmond, California, Mrs. Violet Fischer, Portland, Mrs. Helen Miller, St. Paul, Minnesota, Mrs. Betty Rogers, Bremerton, and Luella Cooper, Klamath Falls, Oregon; nineteen grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Lydia Anderson, New York Mills.

NEW YORK MILLS — Sylvia Elizabeth Blomberg passed away at her home in Olympia, Wash., Dec. 24.

She was born Dec. 3, 1899 at New York Mills and was baptized and confirmed in the Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was married to Jack Blomberg in 1918 in this village. In 1920 they moved to La Moure, N.D., where they resided for 25 years. In 1941 they moved to Olympia.

Surviving are her husband, four sons, Marshall and Roger of Olympia, Wash; Ernest of Bremerton, Wash; Allen, who is in the Navy; and six daughters, Mrs. Ray (Hazel) Wuollu, Oakes, N.D.; Mrs. Bion (Elsie) Richmond, Calif. Mrs. Donald (Violet) Fischer, Portland. Ore; Mrs. Gordon (Helen) Miller, St. Paul; Mrs. John (Betty) Rogers, Bremerton, Wash; and Mrs. James (Luella) Cooper, Klamath Falls, Ore; 19 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Lydia Anderson of Phoenix, Ariz. Two children died in infancy, and her parents, a brother and sister preceded her in death.

Services and interment took place at Olympia Memorial Gardens in Olympia, Wash.
