Retired Little Sandusky Farmer Expires At Home Early Tuesday
Funeral services for Ralph N. Fowler, who died at his home in Little Sandusky Tuesday at 8:45 a.m., will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. from the Bringman & Co. funeral home in this city.
Rev. Harold Vermillion, pastor of the Little Sandusky Methodist Church, will officiate. Friends are asked to please omit flowers at the request of the deceased. The remains may be viewed at the Bringman & Co. funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday until the hour of services.
Mr. Fowler was in a serious condition for three weeks. Born in Pitt township, Wyandot county, February 22, 1879, he was a son of Hiram and Alice (Hornby) Fowler. The mother survives, being 98 years of age.
March 5, 1903, he was united in marriage with Frances Montee. She survives with two children, Nova, wife of Lewis Handy, of Toledo and Hiram Fowler, of Whitehouse, Ohio. One son, Max Fowler, is deceased.
Also surviving are seven grand-children, two great-grandchildren; a brother, Finfun Fowler, and a nephew, Rush Fowler, both of Little Sandusky and a niece, Mrs. Robert Eddy, of Toledo.
Mr. Fowler was a retired farmer, a member of the Little Sandusky Methodist Church and a treasurer of the former Little Sandusky school district.
