Mrs. Myrtle L. Barnthouse, widow of the late T. E. Barnthouse, died this morning at 10:30 o'clock at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Lee Baker, 1430 Columbus-av.

Mrs. Barnthouse, aged 74 years, 3/4 had been ill a short time. A former resident of Findlay, she had made her home with her daughter and son-in-law since the death of her husband seven months ago.

She was born and reared in Little Sandusky, O., where she was a member of the First M. E. church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Baker and Mrs. G. C. Swartz, the latter of Tulsa, Okla.; a son, Owen, of Carrollton, O.; two sisters, Mrs. J. H. Rasey of Fostoria and Mrs. Bessie Book of Bloomington, Ill.; five brothers, Frank Swihart of Michigan and David, Randolph, Peter and Scott Swihart, all of Little Sandusky; five grand-children and four great-grand-children.

The body is at the Lutz funeral home and will be taken to the Baker residence Thursday afternoon. Brief services will be held there Thursday evening at 8 o'clock and on Friday, the body will be taken to Little Sandusky for funeral services at the M. E. church and burial in the cemetery there. The Rev. Roy Smith of Trinity M. E. church, Sandusky, will officiate at both services.
