Little Sandusky - Scott Swihart, 83, of Little Sandusky, died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at his residence after an illness of two weeks.

Born June 10, 1880 in Little Sandusky, he was the son of Jeremiah and Sophia (Vroman) Swihart. He married Bertha Swinehart in 1899 and she died in 1953.

Surviving are sons, Stanton C., Little Sankdusky, and Wayne W., Galion; a daughter, Mrs. William Walter, Tiffin; a sister, Mrs. Bess Book, Bloomington, Ill.; 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. A son, a daughter, five brothers, and two sisters are deceased.

Mrs. Swihart was a member of the Little Sandusky Methodist Church.

Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the church. The Rev. Harold Place and the Rev. R. B. Coleman will officiate with burial in Little Sandusky Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lucas Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
