"Mr. M. W. Davidson, delegate to the Constitutional Convention for Livingston parish, is 22 years old, and the youngest member of the convention. He was born in Springfield, Livingston parish, Nov 14th, 1875, and after a preparatory course, attended at various times the Louisiana State University and Kentucky Military Institute. After completing his literary studies Mr. Davidson attended the Tulane Law School, from which he graduated in 1896 and was admitted to the bar, since which time he has practiced in the courts of the Sixteenth Judicial district.

His father was the late Hon. Thos. Green Davidson, a lawyer of the highest repute, and standing in this section of country, and who served two terms in Congress, resigning when the war broke out to cast his fortunes with the Confederacy. Col. Davidson was also a member of the legislature of this State, and held other positions of trust and honor. His son, Mr. M. W. Davidson, although so young, has already built up an excellent practice and has in him the stuff that makes a man.

Mr. Davidson is a member of the committees on State Lands, Canals and other Property, Manufactories and Enrollment."
