Harvey Pitzer, a little son of the late Chas. Pitzer, met a sad death last Thursday about noon. HE was run over by a wagon which contained about 75 bushels of lime. It seems that his step-father, David Pitzer, living between Bonneauville and White Hall, in Mountpleasant township, was in the field unloading lime, and the boy was sitting upon the saddle horse. As Mr. Pitzer was stepping the distance to put the lime heaps he started the team at the same time, when the little fellow fell, the front wheel passing over his shoulder and breast and the hind one over his abdomen. He was picked up and carried to the house but died soon after. His age was 5 years, 1 month and 18 days. The funeral took place on Friday. Interment at Flohr’s church.
