Ada B. Snyder, 97, of 75 N. Queen St., Littlestown, died early Saturday, Jan. 4, 1997, at her home. Born March 12, 1899 in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late David L. and Margaret Mickley Pitzer. She was the wife of the late Clair J. Snyder, who died July 8, 1984. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Littlestown and was a member of the Ladies Aid at the church. Surviving are three daughters, Kathryn A. Leatherman of Littlestown; Romayne L. Hull of New Oxford and Geraldine L. Spangler of Littlestown; two sons, Roy C. Snyder of Littlestown and Eldon E. Snyder of Littlestown; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; one step great-grandchild; and 13 great great-grandchildren.
Burial in Mount Carmel cemetery, Littlestown. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Bruce Leatherman, Mark Snyder, Marvin Snyder, Kenneth Hull, Tori Spangler and Carl Snyder. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Leatherman, Gordon Snyder and Barry Snyder.
