First wife of Frederick Lee "Fred" Baldwin, married 04 MAR 1900 in Knox City, Knox County, Missouri by Rev. O.N. Collins at his residence.

Fred and Hattie had three children: Ralph Longfellow Baldwin, Ethyl Baldwin and an infant son that died at birth.

OBITUARY
Hattie Longfellow Baldwin was born October 7thm 1883, and was married to Fred Baldwin, March 4, 1900. There were born to this union three children, Ralph aged nine, Ethel aged three and a baby dying in infancy. She died April 21st, 1910, aged twenty-six years, six months and fourteen days. She leaves to mourn her death a devoted husband, two children, her father, mother and five sisters besides a host of friends.
She with her husband made the good confession and were baptized by the writer, in the Christian church at Knox City in August 1908. It was said that no one ever heard her speak an unkind word to or about any one. That she was a good woman and attended to her own business was the verdict of all.
She was buried in the cemetery of the Christian church at Millport.
