Esther M Diehl, 79, Cashtown, died June 10, at Michael Manor.
Mrs. Diehl was born in Orrtanna September 4, 1899, a daughter of the late William and Gertrude Lauver Riggeal.
She was a member of Flohr's Lutheran Chruch, and the Ever Ready Sunday School Class at the church and the Cashtown Fire company Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband Wilmer S Diehl, son Frederick R Diehl, Gaithersburg, Md., sisters, Mrs. Hilda Andrew, Orrtanna R1; Mrs. Hazel Kimple, Orrtanna R1; Mrs. Mildred Bucher, Cashtown; Miss Inez Riggeal, Orrtanna R1. She is also survived by a brother James L Riggeal, Orrtanna R1.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 from the Monahan Funeral Home, with Mrs. Diehl's pastor the Rev. Douglas Y Boden officiating. Burial will be in Flohr's Cemetery, Cashtown.
