After a lingering sickness from cancer, Mrs. Margaret Chronister, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Laura V Snyder, Steinwehr Avenue, Wednesday morning about 3:00, aged 71 years and 10 months. Deceased formerly lived at McKnightstown, but had been making her home here since last March. She leaves one son, Albertus C Chronister, of near Biglerville. She also leaves five sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Laura V Snyder, Gettysburg; Mrs. Theodore Myers, Fayetteville; Mrs. James Lauver and Mrs. Daniel Kuhn, Cashtown/ Mrs. William A Bittinger, Quincy; Simon S Smith, Cashtown; John F Smith and William L Smith, Canton, Ohio; Joseph Smith, Polo, Illinois. Funeral Friday, meeting at the house at 9:00. Further services at Flohr’s church, at 10:30, the Rev. Mr. Koser, officiating.
