A, 16th Cavalry Regiment, May 20, 1863, to serve three years; resigned, January 11, 1864. Comissioned first lieutenant, November 20, 1863, with rank from May 20, 1863, original; prior service in Co. H, One Hundred and Eighteenth New York Volunteers.
