Mrs. Allen was born in Galla Creek Twp. (Pottsville), to Frank and Ethel Jones Beaver, and lived at Pleasant Grove the last 22 years.
Survivors include her husband Jack Allen; two sons, Pvt. John A. Allen of Fort Leavenworth, Kan. and William James Allen of Dover; a daughter, Ida Ruth (Sissy) Riddell of Kansas City, Mo.; her mother, Mrs. Ethel Beaver of Russellville; three brothers, William and Vernon Beaver both of Ward, AR and James Beaver of Bell Garden, Calf,; four sisters, Mrs. Rosa Lee Brown, Mrs. Mildred Taylor and Mrs, Ethel Hubbard all of Russellville and Mrs. Virginia Bailey of Pine Bluff and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God Church by Shinn and Son Funeral Service.
