Mildred Taylor, 71, of Russellville, departed this life on Sunday, December 3, 2006, at the UAMS in Little Rock.

She was born June 9, 1935, at Pottsville to Franklin Fate and Essie Ethel Jones Beaver.

She operated service stations in Russellville with her late husband, Alvis Marion "Junior" Taylor Jr.. She attended the Pottsville Assembly of God where she was active in the children's ministry.

She was preceded in death by parents; her husband; and her daughter, Marian Lynnette Renfroe.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Marjeana Taylor of Pottsville; a brother, James Beaver of Little Rock; a sister, Ethel Hubbard of Russellville; seven grandchildren, Josh Renfroe of Russellville, Jeremy Renfroe of Selma, Alabama, Shawn Clayton of Pottsville, Deidra and Brandy McDaniel of Burleson, Texas, LaRanda Reed of Benton, and Allen Engel of Russellville; and eight great-grandchildren.

Her funeral was held at 10 A.M., Thursday, December 7, 2006, at the Pottsville Assembly of God officiated by the Rev. Larry Horn and the Rev. David Owens.

Burial was in Pisgah Cemetery at Pottsville under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.

Memorials may be made to the Royal Family Kids Camp, c/o Pottsville Assembly of God, Post Office Box 118, Pottsville, Arkansas 72858.
