William "James" Allen, 72, of Mulberry, Arkansas went to be with the lord on Monday September 19, 2022 at a local hospital.
He was born December 2, 1949 in Pleasant Grove, AR to the late Jack and Christine (Beaver) Allen.

He was a retired truck driver of 35 years, Army Veteran, and a member of God's Miracle Lighthouse church. James loved to hunt and fish.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Christine Allen; great-grand daughter, Taylor Jo Goolsby; brother, John Allen; father-in-law, George Freeman; and his pastor, Danny Rockwood.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Wanda (Freeman) Allen; daughters, Lori Goolsby of Fort Smith, Angie Ortner of Van Buren; sons, David Goolsby of Alma, Johnny Allen and wife Colleen of Mountainburg; grandchildren, Cameron McKinney, Sean McKinney, Marli McKinney, Gabby Rowlen, Aspen Goolsby, Jorden Goolsby, Trey Allen, Ryan Allen; great-grandchildren, Kingston Rowlen, Cambree Allen, Taylynne McKinney, Harlynn McKinney; sister, Ida Ruth Riddell; mother-in-law, Rita Freeman; and dear church friend Brenda Rockwood.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday September 23, 2022 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma with interment to follow at Coleman Cemetery in Pope County, AR. The family will visit with friends and family from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Thursday September 22, 2022 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Pallbearers will be Trey Allen, Ryan Allen, Eddie Rogers, Jamie Hendrick, Jeff Dalton, and Jeremy Woodward. Honorary pallbearer will be Dakota Rogers.
