Muriel Marie Burns, 81, of Bloomington died at 6:05 p.m. Thursday (April 14, 2011) at Heartland Healthcare Center, Normal.
She was born Dec. 7, 1929 in Ford County to Thurman J. and Florence Fisher Fulton. She married William E. Burns on Jan. 23, 1950. He died Sept. 29, 1995. She was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Surviving are three children, Madalyn (Jeffrey) Tinerbin, Steven Burns and Deborah (Larry) Russell, all of Bloomington; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Corey) Biggs of Kansas City, Mo., Jason (Missy) Russell of Normal and Lindsay (Jonathan) Eickhorst of Normal; four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Peg Anliker and Ruth Farney, both of Gibson City.
