Mary M. Clark Aldrich was born at Bath, Steuben County, New York, on June 4, 1841 and died at Ellis, Kansas, on Dec. 17, 1898. On June 20, 1859, she was united in marriage with Stephen M. Aldrich of Bath, N.Y., at which place they lived until the close of the war. Here one son, Arthur Clark Aldrich, was born, who now lives at Beardstown, Illinois. In the spring of 1865 they moved to Princeton, Illinois, at which place they lived until March 1886, when they moved to Ellis, Kansas. She was past Matron of Golden Lily Chapter No. 224, O.E.S.
